Welcome to Seven Days a Week!
I’m Kristin. So glad you stopped by.
Please look around and check out my stories, reviews, and tips. There will be new posts added regularly.
A man once said, “Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn’t do than by the ones you did do, so throw off the bowlines, sail away from safe harbor, catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore, dream, discover.”
While much of this is fancy metaphors for letting go of your insecurities and just going for it, I love it just the same. Because my life has, in many ways, been one adventure after the next. Growing up, I lived a normal child’s life. Mostly. The peculiar aspect of my childhood was that I got to relocate, a lot, because of my dad’s work. Although I primarily grew up in majestic Colorado and rural Wyoming, I also found my way in to states such as Texas, California, Nevada, and Utah—to name a few.
In my later years, I traveled to Florida where I attended college for four years of my life, only to move once again, this time to Georgia. And that’s where the blog began!
So many of my early posts were written in and centered around Georgia landmarks and destinations. However, as you can see, I had yet another adventure waiting to unfold. So now, I am living my current adventure in the beautiful—trust me, it is—state of Oklahoma!
Of course, my life hasn’t only been about the where but also the what. My life has also been about going off the beaten path and finding a great restaurant along the way. Or taking my dog to an AKC match, entering him minutes before the even began, and taking home a ribbon. What about the random but fun hobbies I’ve picked up in the last few years? Knitting, piano, blogging! It’s all been fun and it’s all been an adventure.
So kick up your feet, follow my blog, and join on this crazy adventure of mine called life. I promise you it won’t be boring.
Oh, and the man that quoted that advice? His name was Mark Twain. I’d say he took his own advice.
