So keep in mind how Tim and I invested our Memorial Day weekend? Well, we chose to really unwind for the Labor Day weekend. And by “unwind” I suggest burn up a great deal of gas, take a look at some brand-new dining establishments, and go on an experience.

On a spur-of-the-moment choice, we chose to take a trip south on Saturday. Pine Mountain, Warm Springs, and Manchester were the 3 cities we went to. While Pine Mountain is well-known for Callaway Gardens, being low-cost appeared a bit more fascinating that day. As an outcome, we got to see legendary views, charming towns, and even a fish hatchery! Here are a couple of photos from the journey:

Oh, and you understand I need to point out food! So here we choose Aspen’s Mountain Grill. While this will not be a complete evaluation, I can’t not discuss it. Comfortable environment, tasty food, and fantastic business all produced a terrific experience. You’ll have a lot of succulent choices to select from the menu, however I ‘d need to advise you attempt the pimento cheese hamburger. The cheese is white and melty, and the jalapeno jelly is a little sweet and completely scrumptious. Absolutely worth it!

In general, Saturday was a hectic day. However I think we didn’t get enough experience, so on to Monday … With coffee in hand, we set out very first thing Monday early morning and worked our method approximately Dahlonega, Georgia. Due to a minor mistake, we took a more beautiful path, bypassing parts of I-85. And I should state, the views were excellent.

And the city itself is gorgeous too! However truthfully, my preferred parts of Dahlonega were out in the nation.

And obviously, there was more food. I could not skip the Shillelagh at Shenanigans! Call it, this sandwich most likely has it. There’s even a fried egg hid in all those layers.

So if you’re searching for your next location, think about coming by Dahlonega. There’s plenty to see and do. I can’t wait to make another journey up there to see what else I discover. See you there!
